We’re excited to announce an exclusive opportunity for Metro Detroit Golfers (MDG) members to experience a round of golf at the esteemed Oakhurst Country Club in Clarkston. This special event will take place on Tuesday, September 3rd, with a 1pm shotgun start on a first-come, first-served basis.
Due to demand and selling out quickly, Oakhurst actually opened up a few more slots. We now have a MAXIMUM of 25 groups.

Event Details:
Date: Tuesday, September 3rd
Tee Times: 1:00 PM Shotgun Start
Price: Reduced rate of $65 per person (nearly 50% off guest rate)
Includes: 18 holes of championship golf with a cart, unlimited pre-round practice balls at the driving range and chipping center, access to the members’ locker room, and food and beverages available for purchase.
Important Note:
To ensure full transparency, please be aware that Oakhurst will be aerating their greens on August 27th. This maintenance will be take place a full 7 days before our event, but the club certainly expects the greens to be back in good condition by our event September 3rd. We just wanted to make you aware of this ahead of time.
We do not feel like it's an issue, especially considering the half-off rate, but we at least wanted to simply bring it to your attention beforehand!
Dress Code and More:
Please adhere to country club attire—no jeans or cargo shorts. To be clear, this event is not a large scramble or outing with prizes, but rather just a fantastic opportunity for MDG community members to enjoy a round of golf at a top private course at a reduced rate, playing their own ball.
